It has been a very good day.
Peace and harmony reign today.
My best friend had a perfect birthday.
She said she will be a star someday.
A shooting star, she will be on Broadway!
She remembers the rides on the trailway.
She said to herself, those were the good old days!
Now she raises up her rainbow to the sun ray
She is ready to be a star on Brodway.
I like the rhymes in this poem. Reading it, feels like a breath of fresh air passing through your window.
